Strategy & Resources LLC Announces Expansion

New capabilities, additional principals, NYC Office, quarterly journal added to meet market demands

Strategy & Resources LLC (S&R), the strategy consulting firm founded by Matt Lynch, has announced the expansion of its core capabilities, the addition of new principals to the firm and the opening of a satellite office in New York City.

NEW CORE SERVICES AND PRACTICE LEADERS

Strategy & Resources LLC is at an exciting juncture, adding locations, executives and new capabilities. The financial advisory industry continues to evolve, and both institutions and individual advisors are looking to experts to help position their businesses for future success. Strategy & Resources has been doing that since the firm's founding and we are thrilled to formalize existing alliances with other industry thought leaders.

Matt Lynch, Managing Partner, Strategy & Resources

The firm now has four core service areas: Strategic Consulting, Practice Management, Premier Support and an extensive Contact Center services Division. While S&R has become well-known in the financial services industry as a strategy consulting firm, with the addition of the firm’s new Premier Support and Contact Center services, S&R is now able to effectively support businesses outside the financial services industry as these services work across all industries and verticals. Additionally, with the firm’s expanded Practice Management offering, S&R is building upon its long history of working with firms who serve financial advisors.

Lynch continues to lead the strategic consulting practice, leveraging deep industry expertise to advise firms on complex issues, develop actionable plans and provide execution support. The expansion of core capabilities comes through the firm’s merger and acquisition activity with other companies. These include Clear Path Consulting led by Marty Miller and CCIS Consulting led by Scott Casson.

The operational/technical support division (Premier Support and Contact Center services) is led by Scott Casson who joined S&R after the merger with CCIS Consulting, which Casson had led for almost 10 years. He is a 20-year veteran of the financial services industry, having worked both in an executive and senior consultant capacity. His primary focus has been on business transformation and large-scale program management, helping to drive significant change, efficiency and growth. These services were added to help firms remedy common business problems such as low adoption rates on new technology rollouts, failure to achieve expected ROI on new initiatives and keeping up with other business demands (e.g., consumer and advisor preference, competitor behavior and compliance/regulatory environment).

Practice management initiatives focused on helping financial advisory firms and other professional services firms plan, execute and succeed in the six key areas of practice development are now being led by Marty Miller. Miller joined the S&R executive team following the merger with her firm Clear Path Consulting, which she founded in 2004 after a successful career with a major financial services firm. She brings her deep industry experience and expertise in practice management coaching for independent advisors. Financial institutions have been especially interested in bringing S&R’s proven practice management tools and curriculums to the client-facing financial advisors with whom they work.

DEMAND DRIVES GROWTH

The firm is actively investing in technology and human capital to meet market demands. It will also open a satellite office in New York City in during Q1 2019.

“Strategy & Resources is at an exciting juncture, adding locations, executives and new capabilities,” said Lynch. “The financial advisory industry continues to evolve, and both institutions and individual advisors are looking to experts to help position their businesses for future success. Strategy & Resources has been doing that since the firm’s founding and we are thrilled to formalize existing alliances with other industry thought leaders.”

NEW QUARTERLY JOURNAL / CONTENT CHANNEL

S&R has also entered into an agreement with Informa’s WealthManagement.com group to produce a quarterly journal specifically geared toward board members and executives in the financial services industry. The first issue of the Executive Roundtable Journal mailed on Feb. 15, 2019, to a select list of executives who, based on their titles and participation in the WealthManagement.com 2018 Industry Awards, meet charter membership criterion. A corresponding content channel is available now on the WealthManagement.com website as well. Board members and executive decision makers within the financial services industry are invited to express their interest in accessing this unique content and becoming a part of the community by emailing info@StrategyResources.com.
